With hectic schedules I haven’t been able to coordinate a bake with my friend in Seattle since Admirals Gingerbread. On a whim yesterday I flipped through the book and realized I had the ingredients to make the Potato Chip Cookies, so I texted my friend and she was free to bake today!
The kids enjoyed as my son said “beating the hell out of the chips”
These were easy to put together, it’s a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe with chips.
I’m not a huge fan of nuts, but in cookies they’re nice as they provide some crunch and salt, but the chips did this job as well and I thought was a tastier alternative.
Was this a good cookie, yes. Was it the best cookie, not really. I think I would prefer a regular chocolate chip cookie.
But as always, it’s fun to try something new and I have been enjoying having my kids help me in the kitchen.
